    Outreach is an enterprise sales engagement platform used by revenue teams to run multichannel sequences (email, calls, LinkedIn tasks), manage pipeline, and forecast deals. It sits on top of a CRM — usually Salesforce — and gives SDRs and AEs a single workspace for prospecting activity, with A/B testing, conversation intelligence, and manager-level analytics. In 2025–2026 Outreach repositioned around AI agents and 'AI credits' (its pricing tiers are now Amplify Core, Plus, and Pro, differentiated by credit volume), and its website now redirects to outreach.ai. It is built for teams sending from their own corporate mailboxes at moderate volume with heavy process and reporting requirements — not for high-volume cold email across dozens of rotating inboxes. Deployment typically involves a sales cycle, an annual contract, seat minimums, and a real admin lift to configure sequences, roles, and CRM sync properly.

    Outreach does not publish pricing. As of July 2026 its pricing page lists three tiers — Amplify Core (25,000 AI credits), Amplify Plus (50,000), and Amplify Pro (100,000) — with per-user pricing and 'reach out to our team for custom pricing.' Custom enterprise pricing; quotes via sales team, typically on annual contracts.

    Our Verdict

    Outreach is the right tool when the problem is managing a large sales team, not generating cold pipeline. For a cold-email-first stack it is the wrong shape: it sends from your corporate mailboxes, has no inbox rotation or warmup, and its cost only pencils out at enterprise seat counts. Run cold outbound on Instantly or Smartlead with burner domains, and reserve Outreach for the sales team working the replies and pipeline that outbound produces.

    Best for: Enterprise and mid-market sales orgs with 10+ reps, a Salesforce backbone, and a RevOps function that needs governed sequences, coaching, and forecasting in one platform.
