    Sales call follow-up email

The meeting happened. The pipeline dies in the recap. Here is the email that keeps the next step real - and the one to send when they did not show.

    After a held meeting

Subject: Next step from today's call

[Name] - thanks for the time today.

What I heard: [problem in their words], and you'd consider [offer] if [condition].

Next step: [I'll send X / you'll intro Y] by [date]. If Thursday 10:00 your time still works for the working session, I'll send the invite.

    [Your name]

    After a no-show

Subject: Missed you - still good to reconnect?

[Name] - I had us down for [time]. Easy to reshuffle.

Two times that still work on my side: [option A] or [option B]. Reply with a letter and I'll send a new invite.

If the timing is wrong, say so - no chasing.

Growleady’s observed show-up on meetings we book is 85%+. The other 15% get one reschedule path, not a guilt sequence.

If you are still trying to book the first meeting

That is cold email, not a sales-call follow-up. Cold email follow-up, templates, or hire the appointment setting program.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How soon should I send a sales call follow-up email?

Same day if you promised a recap or next step; within 24 hours otherwise. Waiting a week trains the buyer to treat the meeting as optional. If they no-showed, write once that day and once two days later - then stop nagging and offer a new slot.

What should a follow-up after a sales call include?

A one-line thank you, the decision you think you heard, the next step with a date, and only the assets you promised. Do not attach a 14-page deck they did not ask for. Do not re-pitch the whole company.

How is this different from a cold follow-up?

A sales-call follow-up continues a conversation that already happened. A cold follow-up is still asking for the first reply. Templates for the cold side live at /tools/email-templates/ and /blog/cold-email-follow-up/.
